I watched this when I was younger but forgot about it. Funny thing is the SyFy channel had played the originals so I remembered again. When I watched on Tuesday I thought it was good. It was slightly slow at the beginning, but I guess it had to set the plot up.<br><br>I'm mad that the tranport ship to the mothership doesn't look much better than the old school 1983 on. Come on they could of did better than that. Morris Chestnut's character caught me by surprised too. I will have to say that it does follow a similar plot to the original. I'm eager to see how the V's in lizard form will look like, if we ever do get to see them in full lizard trim. I am pretty happy with the actor/actress selection. Happy to see home people from Firefly/Serenity on there as well as "Kara" from Smallville. She's hot. haha. Other then that, first episode was a little slow at first with all the introduction stuff, but it really picked up half way through. Great ending. Great twist.
